Tischsets - placemats
Ist euch das auch schon passiert, dass ihr ein Projekt angefangen habt und es dann für einige Zeit zur Seite gelegt habt und dann hat es euch plötzlich nicht mehr gefallen?
Mit ging das so mit den Tischsets. Vor ungefähr 2 Jahren habe ich angefangen, Tischsets zu häkeln. Ziel wäre eigentlich gewesen, zu unserem Hauseinzug fertig zu sein. Wie auch immer, es kam anders als geplant und die Tischsets (4 wären schon fertig) sind in der Versenkung gelandet.
Nun haben wir einen neuen Esstisch gekauft und eigentlich könnte ich jetzt schöne Tischsets brauchen, aber leider gefallen sie mir wirklich nicht mehr. Also habe ich mich entschieden, sie aufzutrennen und neue zu häkeln. Das ist zwar eine riesen Arbeit, aber wenn ich sie sowieso nicht brauchen werden, ist es auch schade für das schöne Garn.
Die neuen Tischsets arbeite ich nun nach einer Anleitung von Cream oft he crop crochet und sie sind rund. Ich hoffe einfach, dass sie mir auch noch ge
fallen wenn sie fertig sind ;-)
Has this happened to you too, that you started a project and then put it aside for a while and then suddenly you did not like it anymore?
That's what happened with the placemats. About 2 years ago I began to crochet placemats. The goal would have been to be ready for our house move. Anyway, it came differently than planned and the placemats (4 were already finished) ended up in the bottom of a drawer.
Now we have bought a new dining table and actually I could use nice placemats now, but unfortunately I really do not like them anymore. So I decided to unravel them and crochet new ones. It's a huge job, but if I do not use them, that's a shame for the beautiful yarn.
The pattern for the new placemats I am now working on is from Cream often he crop crochet and they are round. I just hope I still like them when they're done ;-)
