Häkeln im Auto/Crochet in the car
Ich bin kein grosser Fan von langen Autofahrten. Wenn ich wählen kann, nehme ich lieber den Zug für lange Strecken. Eine Rundreise ist natürlich etwas Anderes. Aber stundenlang auf der Autobahn unterwegs zu sein langweilt mich. Für lange Autofahrten (als Beifahrerin natürlich) packe ich mir immer eine Häkelarbeit ein. Das Handschuhfach eignet sich geöffnet übrigens bestens als Ablage.
Am Wochenende fahren wir nach Österreich in die Ferien und da kommen dann Weihnachts-Häkelprojekte mit auf Reise.
Ich häkle nicht nur im Auto, sondern eigentlich fast überall. Beim Zahnarzt im Wartezimmer, am Flughafen, im Flugzeug, vor dem Kamin, in der Gondelbahn und im Schnee.
I'm not a big fan of long car journeys. If I can choose, I prefer to take the train for long distances. A roadtrip is of course something else. But spending hours on the motorway is boring me. For long car trips (as a passenger of course) I always bring something to crochet. The opened glove compartment is a good space to put the work.
On the weekend we go to Austria on vacation and some Christmas crochet projects will definitely be packed for that.
I do not just crochet in the car, but actually almost everywhere. At the dentist's waiting room, at the airport, on the airplane, in front of the fireplace, in the cable car and in the snow.
